Set in our secluded meadow, surrounded by woodland, and near to Devon and Cornwall activities.
North Devon is a beautiful region of the South West. Beara Lodge Glamping is located mid-way between Okehampton and Bude.
Okehampton is one of the 'gateways' to Devon's amazing Dartmoor National Park. On the North Cornwall coast, Bude offers great beaches, wonderful surfing, and access to the many fantastic coastal walking routes.
You'll find many suggestions and information sources on our website - You won't get bored and your dogs will be very happy!
On-site you will find our deluxe safari tents located within a beautiful and secluded 5-acre meadow. They're spaciously set and offer you plenty of space to play, roam and relax. Feel free to bring your own outdoor games and reconnect in fun-filled and active ways.

Our 6 acre woodland is currently undergoing conservation works and unfortunately some sections will not be available to explore during the start of our 2025 season, for your safety. We will update here when this is open as usual again. Access to the tents via the woodland path is safe for use. We apologise for this inconvenience.

There are good access roads from the A30 to Beara Lodge Glamping. Directions are as below:-

Exit the A30 at the Okehampton B3260 junction. Follow the B3260 into the centre of Okehampton. At the crossroads (with traffic lights) turn right onto Market Street, proceed straight over the mini roundabout and turn right at the T-junction at the end of the road onto the A386 towards Hatherleigh. Continue along the A386 and at the roundabout in Hatherleigh take the 1st exit onto the A3072. Follow this road through the village of Highampton and approximately 1 mile after leaving the village, Beara Lodge is on the right hand side opposite the T junction to Halwill, through the double 5-bar gates.
NOTE: Please make sure you stay on the A3072 after passing through Highampton until you arrive at Beara Lodge (some Satnav's will ask you to turn right off the A3072 to Black Torrington before arriving at Beara Lodge - please ignore this).
