"What a beautiful setting! So nice to wake up to the birds singing. The dog and our son absolutely loved the space to run around and play. The safari tent was perfect and the log burner and hot water bottles kept us warm on chilly nights. Steve and Sara were perfect hosts - thank you!"

"Beara Lodge has thought of just about everything. From the comfort of the safari tent to the safe enclosed field to give the kids freedom to run, this is an ideal place to stay - especially for families. From starting the day with breakfast on the decking, lighting the bbq to cook the sausages supplied in the fridge to playing Uno in front of the wood burner after dark, this has been a great family get away.

Thanks to Sara and Steve for a lovely welcome and an ideal break" {HomeAway}

"We had an amazing weekend Glamping at Sara’s. The tent was welcoming and spotless, with lovely touches - books for the kids, hot water bottles for all, fluffy towels and milk and local cakes to eat. The setting is so peaceful - we enjoyed bbq-ing and using the fire pit every night listening to the sounds of nature all around us. Easy to reach the coast and Dartmoor, the location is super convenient too. This is a lovely spot and one we hope to return to." {AirBnB}

"Highly recommend this glamping site. There are two safari tents in a separate field with luxury mod cons and a wood burner. Decking and balcony outside with large gas barbecue. The owners are lovely and genuinely friendly and offer a dog sitting service so you can go off to the coast for a day and not worry about your pet. You do have to walk a little way from the car to the tents but a trolley is provided and it's no hassle at all" {Google Business}

"A very large and spacious brand new safari tent in an open field adjoining private woodlands - there was one other safari tent about 50 metres away. Tent has a spacious living area with kitchenette , dining area and living room. Plenty of seating for 5-6 adults. Bunk beds in an alcove to the main living area and two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin). Modern bathroom with very good shower with an array of different heads and settings and loads of lovely hot water with good pressure. You have to park about 300 m away and use a trolley to take your luggage etc to the tent but it is really no problem and actually is quite nice that the cars aren’t by the tent. There is an indoor table with benches that seats 6, and outdoor table on the decking/balcony area that also seats 6 and additional comfy garden furniture. Kitchen comprises a fridge and a dual induction hob but there is a big gas bbq outside as well so very easy to cook decent meals. Ample clean and comfortable bedding and towels and a few thoughtful extras to get your holiday off to a good start. The wild animal noises from the woodlands were quite extraordinary! A little bit of traffic noise but not enough to disturb your peace. Sara and Steve were great hosts, very welcoming and even baby-sat our dog for a day. A lot of thought and time/effort has gone in to making this a real clamping experience. Highly recommended." {AirBnB}
