We're happy to announce that we have acquired the Industry Standard mark "We're good to go" meaning that we have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, have a Risk Assessment in place and also a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
We have also acquired the COVID-19 Confident rating from the AA, who have assessed our risk assessment and associated COVID procedures and measures.
We opened Beara Lodge Glamping on the 4th July 2020.
The safety and well being of our guests, and our own family, is of the utmost importance to us during these unprecedented times.
Whilst the global pandemic continues we will be doing everything we possibly can to keep you safe during your stay, whilst ensuring you have the amazing, relaxing luxury glamping experience that you need!
Following our Covid-19 risk assessment of our business we have put the following measures in place.
We pride ourselves on the standard of our cleanliness here at Beara Lodge Glamping - global pandemic or not! However, we will also now be implementing government cleaning advice for non-healthcare environments. The following cleaning measures will be put in place to reduce the risk of cross contamination:-
The location makes this very simple here at Beara Lodge Glamping. The two tents are located 50 metres apart in a five acre meadow. Each tent has it's own private bathroom, kitchen and outdoor facilities, meaning you will be working very hard to come within at least 1 metre of someone outside your group!
If you do see other guests in the car park, in the woods, in the meadow, or the track to/from the tents please do respect the at least 1 metre rule.
We have marked parking spaces with a 2 metre separation between them and we would ask that guests park within the marked areas only.
We would still like to say "Hello" on arrival and accompany you to your tent, from a safe distance.
There will be hand sanitiser and wipes available at the main gate and also in the car park to clean the baggage trolley before use and wash hands after use of trolley and gate.
